Thanks! I am looking forward to reading through these boards. In Oblivion I like the REN stuff.Īny suggestions? I would like suggestions for hair/face and body mods and any other mods that make the game look better without changing the gameplay. In Morrowind I used a compilation mod I think called better heads. However the mods that come up don't seem to be exactly what I'm looking for. I've browsed through the files, and my usual strategy is to choose things with a lot of endorsements. For example I'd rather have 10 new nice faces and hairstyles than 100 different colors. I am looking for quality, not necessarily quantity. I've modded Morrowind and Oblivion so I'm not a total newbie, but in DA I'm having a hard time chosing face and hair mods.

Id like to ask users of NMM, Vortex, Mod Organizer, Mod Organizer 2 for Skyrim. I was planning on installing JBTextures and then face/hair/body mods. Not suitable for anyone under the age of 18 Please note our games do NOT. I'm planning on playing through the game without most mods, since I've never played it before but I do want some cosmetic mods. The above all work well together for me, however.Įdited by Tancred Of The Chantry, 10 October 2012 - 08:31 AM.Hello Everyone- I just bought Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition. I recommend using the Mod Manager to install and check the compatibility of mods. A purely cosmetic mod that adds new, and more accurate, icons for items in one's inventory. Don't forget to manually add in DLC items that are " free" (i.e. This mod adds items with the same stats as the CE ones, but new names and descriptions. For those of us don't have the Collector's Edition and, therefore, don't have the CE items. One of the must-have mods for DAO, in my opinion Ditto the Zevran Dialogue Fix. I’ve not tried Improved Atmosphere yet, and Dragon Age ReDesigned also looks interesting. It doesn't add or change textures so much as create very high-res versions for the original game's graphics. Combines three character generator tweaks into one easily installed mod.

* CC Chargen Pineappletree Friendly File. I cannot recommend this one highly enough. Since you’re specifically looking for mods to install before you start a new game, then these are, in my opinion, the ones you would do well to use:
